Ingredients (For 300g Chicken Breast) • 300 grams chicken breast (cubed) • 1 medium fresh orange (juice + little zest) • 1 tsp grated ginger • 4–5 garlic cloves (finely chopped) • 1–2 green chilies (optional) • 1 tsp olive oil or cold-pressed sesame oil • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice) • 1 tsp honey (optional) • ½ tsp black pepper • ½ tsp red chili flakes • Salt to taste
👨🍳 Preparation Steps ️⃣ Marinate the Chicken • Add chicken to a bowl. • Add salt, pepper, half the ginger, half the garlic. • Add tbsp fresh orange juice. • Mix well and marinate for – minutes. ⸻ ️⃣ Prepare the Orange Sauce • In a bowl, mix: • Remaining fresh orange juice • A little orange zest • Apple cider vinegar • Honey (optional) • Chili flakes Keep aside. ⸻ ️⃣ Cook the Chicken • Heat tsp oil in a pan on medium heat. • Add the marinated chicken. • Cook – minutes until lightly golden and fully cooked. • Let excess moisture evaporate so the chicken slightly caramelizes. ⸻ ️⃣ Build Flavor • Add remaining garlic, ginger, and green chilies. • Sauté for – seconds until aromatic. ⸻ ️⃣ Add the Orange Glaze • Pour in the orange sauce. • Let it simmer on low heat. • Keep stirring until the sauce naturally reduces and becomes glossy. • Cook – minutes until it lightly coats the chicken. (No thickener needed — natural orange sugars will reduce and glaze.) ⸻ 🌿 Final Touch • Optional: sprinkle sesame seeds or fresh coriander. • Serve hot.
