Chicken drum stick, rice, onion, oil, biriyani masala and spices
Marinate chicken (g)and keep it aside for minutes. Soak normal basmati / biriyani rice (g) for minutes and boil it for minutes. it should be % cooked only.
Take a deep wok and heat it on a medium flame. Add gm of oil to saute onion(g), bay leaf, spices as per your taste (salt, pepper, a pinch of turmeric, biriyani masala). Add chicken drum sticks, mix it with spices and cook it for minutes or until the chicken gets softened. You can check with a fork as well.
Add half boiled rice and spread across the wok and cover it with a lid for minutes or until the rice is cooked.
Turn off the gas. Open the lid after to minutes and feel the aroma of delicious biriyani.
