Seedless Dates : 60 gms Nuts and Dryfruits (finely chopped) : 20 gms Ghee : 5 gms A pinch of Cardamom Powder,Poppy seeds (khaskhas), dry ginger powder (optional)
Firstly, take seedless dates in a blender and blend to coarse paste. Keep aside. In a small pan, heat ghee and add dryfruits of your choice. I used almonds, cashew, walnuts and hazelnuts. Roast on low flame for - minutes or till nuts turn crunchy. Now add a pinch of cardamom powder, ginger powder (optional) and poppy seeds and roast for a minute. Add in crushed dates and mix well. Fry for a minute on low flame and then turn off the flame and let it cool down for few minutes. Now grease your hands with a little ghee and start making laddoos of the mixture. These can be kept for - weeks in an air tight container.
